We Came To Remember
Somatic Dance Teacher Training
Level 2 - Psyche
Monday 14th - Thursday 24th October 2024
NEW PLYMOUTH
What we’ll cover in Level 2
How to tune into the limiting belief systems of the group
How to work with these limiting belief patterns to create powerful shifts
How to differentiate trauma from an emotional process
How to effectively work with trauma if it arises in a group setting
How to work with the energetics of a space
How to take your DJ skills to the next level
How to trust your intuition to become an even clearer channel
How to guide bodies out of habitual patterns of movement
How to weave embodiment and somatics into your existing practice
How to step even more fully into the unique expression of you
How to tune into nature and receive the messages She has for you
How to hold ecosomatic dance spaces.
And you’ll do all this by deepening your understanding of embodiment through personal experience.
When we recognise and overcome the limiting beliefs that hinder us from our greatest potential, we can use that wisdom and the medicine of dance to skillfully guide others.
Are you ready to take another step on your journey home?
Join Sarsha Hope and faculty in this Level 2, 100-hour Somatic Dance Teacher Training, where you will learn how to deepen your embodied dance medicine journeys.
With dance floors expanding and blossoming everywhere, embodied movement is clearly a powerful tool for transformation, and people are ready to remember.
Completion of our Level 1 Somatic Dance Teacher Training is a prerequisite for this training. Apply for Level 1 training HERE
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most.
Marianne Willamson
So how do we forget what we’ve been taught…so we can deeply remember what we inherently know?
First, we explore our personal belief systems, collective, past life and soul conditioning.
Next, we ask ourselves if our perspective supports a fully embodied and empowered life.
If the answer is no, we must shine a light on the unconscious realms of the psyche, find where these beliefs are held in the body and explore ways to release them.
In our quest for freedom, we learn to forget, so we can enter deep states of remembering.
When the divinity of the body is forgotten, our connection to all bodies is severed.
Beliefs are physical. A thought held long enough and repeated often enough becomes a belief. The belief then becomes biology.

Epic Assistants
We are blessed to have incredible assistants from all around New Zealand who themselves have been through our trainings. Many have gone on to facilitate in New Zealand and abroad.
This is our first time offering Level 2 training, so the assistants have been carefully considered. They are all holding regular dances and have what we consider to be strong facilitation and DJing skills. Furthermore, they have given hours of their time assisting our previous trainings and have a deep understanding of this work.
